Leah joined Symmetry Injury Rehab in 2014. She completed her Bachelor of Science in the Biomedical Physiology and Kinesiology department at Simon Fraser University in 2012. Leah has also completed her Functional Capacity Evaluation certification, and has a wide range of experience with job site visits combined with return to work coordinating. Leah has experience with providing community based rehabilitation programs for soft tissue and musculoskeletal injuries, mental health issues, as well as community reactivation programs. She has specific experience in providing rehabilitation to hand therapy clients. She has worked with a wide variety of clients including athletes, geriatric patients, clients injured at work as well as through motor vehicle accidents. Leah has experience providing rehab in both the clinic and community setting, working in team settings with Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists.
As a Kinesiologist, Leah specializes in Rehabilitative Aquatherapy and Fitness Programs, Return to Work Programs, Lifestyle Consulting and Personal Training. As a Rehab Assistant, Leah specializes in Community Re-integration and Cognitive Retraining. Leah's recreational interests include soccer, hiking, and being outdoors.
