We provide our OTs with valuable mentorship, growth, and exceptional opportunities to resource a network of therapists. The position will be providing community / home – based assessment and rehabilitation services throughout the Fraser Valley of BC, with an interesting and varied caseload.
Our Occupational Therapists assist clients in recovering from a wide variety of injuries, including soft tissue and musculoskeletal injuries, traumatic brain injuries, or mental health disorders. Our goal with each client is always to maximize functional independence and promote engagement in meaningful occupations. We aim to improve quality of life for all our clients, and strive for evidence-informed, collaborative, inclusive and culturally safer practice.
The Occupational Therapists’ caseload may contain a mixture of clinical case management, hospital discharge coordination, home safety / support assessments, home modifications / environmental assessment and consultation, return to work intervention, coordination of rehabilitation programs, brain injury rehabilitation, and community reintegration.
The Occupational Therapist would often work as part of a multidisciplinary team, liaising with Rehabilitation Coordinators, Adjustors, Doctors, Physiotherapists, Kinesiologists, Rehabilitative Assistants, Counselors / Psychologists, and Vocational Consultants. The Occupational Therapist should be self-directed and possess strong interpersonal skills.
The successful candidate should have the following qualifications:
- Registrant in good standing with COTBC
- Possess Professional Liability Insurance as well as Commercial Liability Insurance
- Have access to a vehicle to drive to / from clients’ homes

Kinesiologist
Fraser Valley, British Columbia

Symmetry Injury Rehabilitation Ltd. is looking for a Kinesiologist to join our dynamic and experienced team of private practice rehab professionals! We are an integrated team of Kinesiologists, Occupational Therapists, Athletic Therapists, and Rehab Assistants.
We provide our Kinesiologists with valuable mentorship, growth, and exceptional opportunities to resource a network of therapists.
The Community Based Kinesiologist would meet one-on-one with clients, providing active rehabilitation & / or rehab assistance. Interesting and varied caseloads may consist of soft tissue and musculoskeletal injuries, traumatic brain injuries, mental health disorders, work conditioning, and community reintegration. The Kinesiologist must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
These positions are full time, although there is an option for part time.
The candidate should have the following qualifications:
- Degree in Kinesiology or Human Kinetics
- Member of the BCAK
- Possess Professional Liability Insurance as well as Commercial Liability Insurance
- Possess valid CPR & First Aid Certificates
- Experience providing active rehabilitation & rehabilitative assistance. Experience working with brain injuries is an asset.
- Have access to a vehicle to drive to/from clients (providing rehab in community centers or in client’s homes)
