Kinesiologist, Rehabilitative Assistant
Mariam is a practicing Kinesiologist, a graduate of SFU with a Bachelor of Science degree. She has experience developing rehabilitative exercise programs for various soft tissue and musculoskeletal injuries, return to work conditioning, and well as helping people progress and get stronger with their activities of daily living. Mariam also works with her clients to help with exposure therapy, community integration and independent living.
Aside from her work experience, Mariam has volunteered with various multicultural groups and individuals with a wide range of abilities. Her experiences give her a strong ability to work with clients from varying age groups from kids to older adults and different backgrounds.
Mariam enjoys the outdoors and staying active, but one of her first loves is baking!
