Occupational Therapist
Elissa joined Symmetry Injury Rehab in 2018. Elissa is an Occupational Therapist with experience ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics, in areas focused on both physical and mental health.
Elissa obtained her Bachelor of Arts (multidisciplinary) from Providence University College, and her Master’s in Occupational Therapy from the University of Manitoba. She has completed education and training in DIR Floortime (Basic level), mindfulness, and motivational interviewing.
Elissa specializes in Community Reintegration, Stress and Pain Management, Case Management, Home Safety/Support Assessments, Coordination of RA Programs, Return to Work Intervention, Coordination of Hospital Discharge and Mental Health Management.
Elissa’s recreational interests include getting outdoors to trail run or kayak when possible, reading and writing.
