Occupational Therapist
Jaimie is an Occupational Therapist who earned her Master of Occupational Therapy from Queen’s University. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts with a Major in Sociology and a Minor in History from Vancouver Island University.
Jaimie brings experience supporting clients across the lifespan in a variety of community settings, with a strong clinical focus in pediatrics. She has extensive experience working with children and youth with cognitive and developmental delays, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), as well as a range of mental health conditions. Jaimie is passionate about delivering individualized, family-centered care that helps children develop functional skills, emotional regulation, sensory processing strategies, and greater independence at home, in school, and in the community.
In addition to her pediatric expertise, Jaimie supports clients with home modifications and equipment provision, hospital discharge planning, pain management, and school-based rehabilitation. She also assists individuals recovering from concussion and traumatic brain injuries, managing chronic pain, and addressing musculoskeletal and orthopaedic injuries.
Jaimie has a special interest in health promotion, aging in place, and the management of mental health and neurological conditions, and she brings a holistic, strengths-based approach to all aspects of her practice.
Outside of work, Jaimie enjoys yoga, horseback riding, reading, and spending time with her friends and family.
