Occupational Therapist
Janessa is an Occupational Therapist who joined Symmetry Injury Rehab in 2017. She has experience working with a variety of clientele including community and clinical settings, as well as adults, pediatrics and geriatrics. Janessa obtained her Bachelor of Applied Human Sciences (Recreation Therapy) from Concordia University (2013) and her MScOT from Queen’s University (2017).
Janessa specializes in Community Reintegration, Stress and Pain Management, Case Management, Home Safety/Support Assessments, Coordination of RA Programs, Return to Work Intervention, Coordination of Hospital Discharge and Mental Health Management. Janessa loves getting to know her clients to support them with their ongoing needs. She is constantly seeking out educational opportunities to further improve her abilities in assisting others.
Janessa ‘s recreational activities include hiking, skiing, swimming and traveling.
