Occupational Therapist
Sarah joined Symmetry Injury Rehabilitation in 2018 and brings over 10 years of experience supporting individuals with complex physical and mental health conditions.
As an Occupational Therapist, she has experience in post-surgical rehabilitation, hospital discharge planning, clinical case management, return-to-work coordination, cognitive rehabilitation, mental health, and pediatrics.
Sarah holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Victoria and a Master’s in Occupational Therapy from the University of British Columbia. She has pursued advanced training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), chronic pain management, concussion management, and exposure therapy. She also has additional training in supporting neurodiverse children and is certified to administer the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA).
Sarah’s approach is warm and collaborative, and she works closely with clients and families to focus on the goals that matter most to them.
Outside of her professional role, Sarah enjoys keeping up with her two children, going for runs, and watching a good documentary.
