Here’s some introductory information to help you get started:

ICBC:

  • ICBC coverage encompasses rehabilitative services, including OT and kinesiology, for individuals recovering from motor vehicle accidents.
  • If your accident was less than 12 weeks ago, ICBC pre-approves 12 sessions of kinesiology.
  • Consult your ICBC representative for OT services. You may need a doctor’s note or referral to secure funding.
  • OT and kinesiology services are fully funded under ICBC’s Enhanced Care model, with no user fees at Symmetry Rehab.

Veterans Affairs:

  • Veteran Affairs Canada (VAC) covers a range of healthcare services, including OT and kinesiology, for eligible veterans.
  • Inquire about the process for accessing services, including any required referrals or authorizations, to make informed decisions about your treatment plan.

WorkSafe BC:
